The background of EU tax reform：
In order to create a level playing field for sellers and online and offline merchants within the EU and across borders, the EU will implement some new regulations on value-added tax (VAT) on e-commerce sales, which will have an impact on goods sold to 27 EU countries. The new royalties will take effect on July 1, 2021 (UTC+2).

1. What is the EU's value-added tax (VAT) policy?

Value-added tax (VAT) is a turnover tax levied on the value-added amount generated during the circulation of goods and services as the tax basis. All transactions within the EU need to consider the impact of value-added tax. The standard tax rate is 15% to 27%. The EU provides a unified framework, but each country levies it separately.

2. Cancel the regulations on low-value goods exemption from import value-added tax

The EU decided to abolish the VAT exemption policy for low-priced goods (less than 22 euros) imported into the EU from non-EU countries.
